How to Recycle your Empty ZamiPet Packaging
At ZamiPet, we are committed to reducing our environmental impact, with a view to evolving our packaging to help keep it out of landfill and play our part in creating more sustainable outcomes.
Here's how you can recycle your empty ZamiPet packaging:Â

APCO: leaders in development of packaging’s circular economy
ZamiPet is proud to be a member of the Australian Packaging Covenant Organisation (APCO), a not-for-profit organisation leading the development of a circular economy for packaging in Australia. APCO’s vision, shared by ZamiPet, is to create a packaging value chain that collaborates to keep packaging materials out of landfill, retaining the maximum value of materials, energy and labour within the local economy.
As part of our collaboration, all ZamiPet products are clearly labelled with APCO’s standardised labelling system that provides clear and consistent on-pack recycling information to inform consumers of the correct disposal method at kerbside.
REDcycle soft plastic recovery initiative
As an extension of our APCO membership, ZamiPet is also a partner of Australia’s REDcycle program, a recovery initiative for post-consumer soft plastic. REDcycle’s is a supermarket-based recycling program that enables consumers to return their empty soft plastic packaging and unwanted shopping bags to their nearest Coles or Woolworths supermarket for recycling.
The collected plastic is returned to REDGroup’s facility for initial processing, then delivered to Victorian manufacturer Replas and transformed into a huge range of recycled-plastic products, including fitness circuits, sturdy outdoor furniture, bollards, signage and more.
You can take your empty ZamiPet HappiTreatsâ„¢ pouch to any participating REDcyle collection point.
